David, an experienced hiker, loved the solitude and tranquility of the Canadian forests. He had explored many trails, but this time he decided to venture into a lesser-known part of the woods, where nature was wild and untouched by humans. It was an area he had heard about in an old hikers' forum, a place full of mystery and legends.

He arrived at the forest on a sunny afternoon, set up his tent, and prepared to spend the night. The rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds were his companions as he lit a campfire. Everything seemed perfect.

The first night passed peacefully with a clear sky, allowing him to admire the stars. The vastness of the universe made him feel small but at peace. The next morning, with fresh air filling his lungs, David decided to explore further. He carried his backpack full of supplies, his camera, and a compass.
The sun had barely risen when he began his hike, following an old trail covered in undergrowth that was barely distinguishable among the trees. The dense vegetation and the absence of signs of other humans made him feel like he was the first man to set foot on this land.

As he walked, a metallic glint caught his eye through the trees. Curious, he left the trail and made his way through the vegetation. After a few minutes of struggling with branches and bushes, he came across an incredible scene: a crashed spaceship, partially hidden by vegetation.
It was a metallic colossus with an unknown structure and strange markings on its surface. David felt a chill as he got closer, but his curiosity outweighed any fear.

The ship was clearly damaged, with parts of its hull shattered and debris scattered on the ground. There was a smell of burnt metal and something more indefinable, a mixture that churned his stomach.
As he got closer, he noticed that a hatch was ajar. He swallowed hard and peered inside.
Everything was dark with flashing lights and a constant hum that seemed to come from the very heart of the ship. Suddenly, a noise behind him made him turn abruptly.
There, in the shadows of the trees, a figure emerged. It was tall and slender with grayish skin and glowing eyes. Its movements were quick and fluid, almost too fast to be caught by his eyes.
The creature, clearly wounded but still dangerous, lunged at him. David reacted instinctively, running in the opposite direction. The creature chased him, emitting a high-pitched screech that chilled his blood.
He ran without looking back, his heart pounding and sweat running down his forehead. He knew he couldn't escape indefinitely.

So, he decided to use his knowledge of the forest to his advantage. He remembered a nearby cliff and headed towards it. As he ran, he gathered branches and stones, devising a desperate plan.
He reached the cliff and with trembling hands prepared an improvised trap. He placed branches to camouflage an area of the edge of the precipice and waited.
The creature appeared shortly after, its heavy breathing and its glowing eyes full of fury. David provoked it by throwing a stone at it. The creature roared and lunged at him at the last second, David moved aside and the creature fell into the trap, plummeting down the precipice with a chilling scream.
David cautiously peered over, watching the figure disappear into the darkness of the abyss. The silence that followed was deafening.
Exhausted and trembling, he returned to his camp. He couldn't sleep that night, his thoughts filled with what he had seen and faced. Dawn arrived slowly, bathing the forest in a golden light. David, having not slept, felt dazed and confused.
He knew he had to return to civilization and tell his story, but something held him back. What was that ship? What was that creature? His mind couldn't stop revolving around those questions.
He decided he couldn't leave without getting more answers. After packing his camp, he returned to the crashed ship, this time more prepared. He brought with him a powerful flashlight, a rope, and his survival knife.
The hatch was still open, and with a knot in his stomach, he ventured into the darkness.
The interior of the ship was a maze of narrow corridors and strange chambers. The flashing lights and constant hum gave it an air of a nightmare.
David moved cautiously, inspecting every corner. He found rooms full of unknown equipment, control panels with incomprehensible symbols, and the remains of what appeared to be other crew members, now reduced to skeletons.
**In one of the largest chambers, he discovered what appeared to be the command center. There was a main console still operational with a screen displaying data he couldn't understand.
